Hi, I’m Natasha.

Ooh, look at me welcoming you to my creative blog, where I will introduce you to all the fun, creative and crazy things I get up to.

I am a wife and a mother to my 3 children and 2 dogs, so you can imagine how chaotic it can get in our house.

“Ooh, look at me!” is an ironic name because I actually don’t like drawing attention to myself or my family, yet I really like inspiring others to be creative because I know how fulfilling it can be. The name also comes from something silly we used to say years ago and it kind of just stuck with me.

Check out our About Us page for more information about us and what we do.

I hope this brings you creative joy

Let’s get yarning and creative!

Ooh, look at me going on a creative journey with you!

Art Inspiration - Kayleigh’s Painting, inspired by Art Ninja

I started watching “Art Ninja” on CBBC a long time ago. It’s an art shown that is similar to Art Attack. It has comedy skits and cool art projects that are good fun for any age. I saw an episode about abstract art and thought I would give it a try. Ricky (Art Ninja) used different objects to draw around on a canvas using a pencil and then coloured it in with acrylic paint. It can have amazing effects when you experiment with different colours and shapes.

For my painting I used yoghurt pots, a paint palette, a jar and a rubber. To colour it in, I used acrylic paints, some of which were from Hobbycraft and Poundland, others were from my art set. I really like abstract art. I feel like it’s more about imagination rather than physical objects. It is one of my favourite types of art.

Expressing yourself through painting, drawing or anything creative is an amazing feeling. It can be anything you feel, anything that inspires you, just something that comes from YOU! You should give it a try, you’ll never know what you love until you do!

May all your creative wishes come true……..
