Hi, I’m Natasha.

Ooh, look at me welcoming you to my creative blog, where I will introduce you to all the fun, creative and crazy things I get up to.

I am a wife and a mother to my 3 children and 2 dogs, so you can imagine how chaotic it can get in our house.

“Ooh, look at me!” is an ironic name because I actually don’t like drawing attention to myself or my family, yet I really like inspiring others to be creative because I know how fulfilling it can be. The name also comes from something silly we used to say years ago and it kind of just stuck with me.

Check out our About Us page for more information about us and what we do.

I hope this brings you creative joy

Let’s get yarning and creative!

Kids Christmas Baking Blogmas

Every year we bake cakes and biscuits or cookies at Christmastime. It is one of our Christmas traditions. We use the Big Book of Things to Do for the recipes, which I included a review for on the Ooh, look at me! Christmas Book Club. The kids were completely in control this time. They got out all the ingredients, weighed everything, read the instructions and mixed everything up. They even successfully cracked open the eggs. Although, Kameron did drop one on the floor and Kayleigh dropped a bit of shell in the mixture because Korey kindly knocked her arm. Then they decorated the cakes themselves. Or rather went by the rule of “One for the cake, three for me!” They ate more than they put on the cakes.

We bought all the ingredients from our local Tesco and mostly used their own branded items, like the flour and the eggs, as well as some of the other items. The Christmas cutters are ones we have had for a few years now. We use them every year to have Christmas shaped sandwiches as well as cakes and biscuits.

I hope this brings you creative joy and inspires you to start your own creative journey.

Please share and connect with us on social media.  I would love to hear from you.

Let’s get creative!
